Beginner’s Guide to Canine Massage

This is an exciting, yet relaxing day that you and your dog will both benefit from. You will be learning more about what’s underneath your dog’s skin with a fun tutorial “Anatomy Dot to Dot” where you will be finding your dog’s main skeletal landmarks and some of your dog’s main muscle groups.
- You will practice and perfect 9 main Swedish massage techniques to help improve your dog’s comfort levels and overall wellbeing.
- Finally you will put everything you have learnt together in a fully choreographed routine.
- You’ll also learn how to help identify lifestyle issues that could be causing or exacerbating mobility issues with your dog.
Many dog owners have been taught how to help their own dog at home, relieve stiffness and help conditions like Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia. You don’t need to have any massage skills in order to do this workshop, just the willingness and enthusiasm to enjoy the day!
